Best Last Best Plane Ride Ever

Directed & Animated by James Blagden. US debut at 2016 Tribeca Film Festival, New York NY.

On October 15, 1986, the New York Mets beat the Houston Astros in a win for the pennant - coming back from a 9th inning three-run deficit and playing a grueling 16 innings of post-season baseball. This is the story of the Mets' infamous postgame party in the sky, during which a perfectly good DC-10 airliner was ripped to utter shreds. As told by four of the '86 team's most beloved players: Lenny Dykstra, Dwight Gooden, Kevin Mitchell, and Darryl Strawberry. Produced by Christopher Isenberg (Victory Journal)
